HELP CENTRE

What are the current travel restrictions in Europe?

The European Commission has set up an official web page summarising all transport measures in place in response to the Covid-19 pandemic which can be accessed here.

Before you travel, please read the latest information from the government on travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic

The UK government is requiring travellers to quarantine for 14 days on arrival to the UK from France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Passengers currently in France or the Netherlands seeking to return to the UK early must amend their ticket before travelling to the port. Customers will be unable to board alternative sailings without a valid booking, so we strongly advise against turning up at the port outside your allocated time.

For customers in Belgium, the Netherlands or France who are either impacted by the announcement or choose not to travel in August, you have the following options regarding your bookings:

Ireland

Please note that if you're arriving into Ireland it is now a legal requirement to complete a Public Health Passenger Locator Form. More information can be found on the Irish Governments website

France

**From 04:00 on Saturday 15th August, the government is requiring travellers to quarantine for 14 days on arrival to the UK from France or the Netherlands.

Those arriving in to France from the UK by sea will need to complete a ‘sworn statement’ (déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying they are not suffering from symptoms associated with Covid19 and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight. This is available in English on the site of the French Embassy London.
