Updated February 15th 2022
The legal requirement to wear a face covering in England no longer applies. However, the government suggests that you continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
- A face covering is a covering of any type which covers your nose and mouth.
- It is important to wash or sanitise your hands before and after touching your face covering.
- For further information on face coverings please visit the government advice site.
