Will the French curfew/restrictions affect my travel plans?

The French government has also introduced a tiered alert system with different restrictions in place across the various regions.

As a result a curfew has been imposed from 21:00 to 06:00 in many regions throughout France including Nord Pas-de-Calais during which time people are required to remain at home.

To find out more about these local restrictions, should you need to travel for essential reasons during the hours of curfew please refer to the French government website.

A certificate, available in English on the Ministry of Interior’s website, will need to be completed for any travel that is essential during curfew hours.

Please keep a copy of your booking details/confirmation to hand alongside a printed copy of the certificate, if you do need to travel during curfew hours.
