Luggage (Foot Passengers)
Dover to Calais
Foot passengers are transported by bus from the 'Foot Passenger Facility' area to the ships and are responsible for carrying their own baggage on/off the bus and should therefore restrict the amount of luggage accordingly.
- Luggage not required during the sailing can be placed in baggage trolleys which are located beside the ship during embarkation/disembarkation. Otherwise, passengers must keep their baggage with them at all times.
- Baggage is reclaimed on arrival in Calais just before entering the Terminal
Cairnryan to Larne
Foot passengers are transported by bus from the terminal to the ships and are responsible for carrying their own baggage on/off the bus, you should therefore restrict the amount of luggage accordingly. The bus is locked and stays on board for the crossing, so passengers can leave their luggage should they wish too and collect it on arrival at the terminal in Larne.
Hull to Rotterdam
Passengers must take only hand luggage with them in to the cabins. Passengers wishing to take extra luggage, must leave it as stored luggage. P&O Ferries allow passengers to travel with a reasonable amount of luggage, but do reserve the right to charge for excessive, heavy or bulky items.
Note: The North Sea Ferries contain locker rooms for people who are travelling on a Mini Cruise with different cabins out and back to store their luggage in.
