HELP CENTRE

Can my baby travel with a Birth Certificate?

Unfortunately not. Your baby must have a valid Passport on the Short Sea and North Sea routes.

They do not require any documentation if they are travelling on either of the Irish Sea routes.

Please also note that your rights and status when travelling to an EU country could change in relation to the UK leaving the EU on the 31st October 2019.

More information on the types of actions you may need to take ahead of travelling in the event of a ‘no deal’ EU Exit can be found on the GOV website.
